I don't think that should be a red card but that is a reasonable call from Garces based on precedent. Definitely no intent (which is irrelevant). I didn't think there was a lot of force in that.
Thing is we play a game plan which is all around the game opening up in the second half. Even if that were a yellow card, we would be 16-12 down and have only 14 players until 30 minutes to go. We would probably still win from there but you are asking a lot.
In the World Cup we need to play for 80 minutes.

Red cards at the elite level should be an absolute last resort It kills the game as a spectacle. It deprives the paying public of a fair deal. It’s anti-commercial. Im liking the interchsnge between bb and rm. Im likng the backrow. But i think we need to talk abiut our props.

I’m not liking the back row that much on this first half viewing. Surprisingly Cane is getting blown off the ball far too easily.
Hope we lift a little. Not too much to show that mystery hand that is covered in white powder, but just a tad would be nice.

I believe Garces also sent off SBW in 2nd Lions match in Wellington
SBW got sent off for a similar tackle to S Barrett
2nd man in tackle & SBW smokes Watson with a shoulder charge to head/neck area Again a clear red card

To be brutally honest, I am totally over this 2 pivot idea, how about a novel idea of having the right people in their respective positions...I think our coaches have totally over thought this and confused many of the players...dumb from Scott Barrett..,and his brother Beauden has not been much better, how about kicking playing a long kicking game, playing deep in the Aussie half forcing them to bring the ball and bring Kane and Savea into play at Breakdown...

If Cane is getting blown off, it won't be any better with Fifita or Frizell.

Two pivots is working well for me. Definitely not the problem out there.

@Steven-Harris Yup. And also having a wing who isn't a metre slower than the others would also be great.
