@mariner4life do the Crusaders have any loose forwards?

They might be welcome to make a bid for Reed Princep to see if he is interested in returning back to his home area.

@Nogusta Don’t worry the Canes will start in the Republic which always seems to be the case.

@mikey07 the Phoenix always prevent us from having early home games. W&$kers.

@Nepia very true, the Canes always seem to start away from New Zealand. Even if it's another NZ team away, I wouldn't mind.

@Nepia Hey now we can't expect the canes to show their smaller unions some respect.

@Yeetyaah It would be hilarious if we really rubbed it in by playing one of our home games in Fiji.

SUPER RUGBY 2020 MATCH SCHEDULE RELEASED

The 2020 Super Rugby match schedule has been released by SANZAAR.

The tournament will kick-off with two derbies on Friday 31 January. The Blues will host the Chiefs at Eden Park in Auckland while later the same evening the Brumbies will host the Reds at GIO Stadium in Canberra.

Super Rugby's continued international footprint will see matches played in six countries across the 18-week regular season, with matches played in Argentina, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa.

The World Rugby international Test match window for inbound matches/tours to Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa is now in July so this allows Super Rugby to be played uninterrupted across the 21-week tournament timeframe (including the three-week Finals series).

Click HERE for 2020 Super Rugby match schedule. (That link opens a pdf file)

Canes start in S.A again and Buenos Aires for round 2, before facing the Sharks at home.

    Talk about a brutal start.

I suppose having that trip early brings the guys together and it allows us to spend most of our time at home leading into the business end of the comp.
