Ref not bad, but by god the week to week inconsistency is horrific. YC being thrown around like candy

I've heard Rugby described as the sport you show up an 15 minutes in you know the rules you're playing this week ... it's pretty fair tbh

I wouldn't heap too much praise on Auckland. Definitely deserved winners, but ill-disciplined and average for most of the game.

Sure, but I was impressed by the defence and determination to turn the game around.

Conditions and a ref team only looking one way affected things greatly.

@Kirwan I don't think the ref looked one way. Auckland was clearly the worst offender. No big things, just a lot of little things. The cards were clearly for an accumulation of penalties; not for something bad.

The defence was solid, but a messy game. Last 5-10 minutes made difference.

@Stargazer we get pinged for offences where they got coached to get back or let go. Makes a difference in that accumulation you speak about.
