    @Chris-B I’m a little nervous about this first up game.up until last year I have always felt we have had an edge over the Boks , but there’s just something different about them at the minute in the way that they are coached and also the way they are playing the game with a bit more flair not to mention you just they don’t fear us.sense theirs a ton of confidence in their camp..would feel a whole lot better if Brodie had been fit..just want to get it started already.

    A little bit of nervous energy is never a bad thing. You know you’re alive 😀

    Whilst I don’t think it has too much bearing on what happens on the field, but if we do lose I hope the AB fans don’t go into meltdown. I think I can confidently say that if the Boks lose, their supporters won’t. It’s not the end and it certainly won’t derail things. We should all know that they we still very much in it.

    @canefan very much so..whats your thought on tomorrow’s game..?

    We have the team to beat them. I thought we were wasteful and far too open in Wellington and should have beaten them easily. They hung on and snatched the draw off a handling error or turnover IIRC? If we play more direct and our physicality is there, if we don't shell all our passes we should win the game. I expect us to win

    @Steven-Harris And very rightly - they could easily have beaten us 2-0 last year. Though in fairness, each team won the game they probably shouldn't have.

    They're fielding something pretty close to the team that played the second test of that series, while we've made some significant changes - so in some ways they've got the advantage of a more settled team.

    I don't have a good memory for how they played last year, but I think Hansen should be looking very closely at those games (especially game 2) for the blueprint of how they'll go about this one. I suspect they might have kept the ball in hand.

    Mainly, though, I'm thinking/hoping that Hansen has timed our run right with the dual playmakers and we're going to see it come to full fruition. At some point soon, Mo'unga is going to have his international "arrival" and there will be bunch of overseas journos shaking their heads at how we've pulled another diamond from our ass, so to speak. 🙂 Just hope it's during this tournament!

    I think the Wallabies have a better chance than Wales of making the final. Not a lot between them though, on paper anyway.

    Can mods fix the spelling in the thread title?

    The Wales v aus game I see about as close to 50 50 as you can get ,

    But when people are talking about their favourites for the tournament , Wales gets mentioned a lot , but aus not so much,

    Australia will top the pool.

    Beating Wales and scoring the most tries.

    The four years without him have been tough for the ABs.

    He should just ask, the Japanese are very polite and will show him the way.

    All good excuses though as to why coaches are morans (and we aren't) - unless we win, then it's all good.

    Some dude was on RS yesterday moaning about SBW, can't decide what sport he wants to do, rugby, league, boxing and only for the money...

    When was he last in league, when did he last box, how much more could he earn off shore?

    Such a polarizing fella, yet you only hear good things about him from those that work with him.

    Predictions?

    The Wobblies will get better as the tournament goes on. As ever

    England will start strong and then fade - see 6Ns

    Wales will be a slow burn. Have the team ethic & strategy but do they have the legs?

    Not sure Ireland got the depth of players but will be thereabouts. But have ethey peaked and has Sexton has been found out?

    Scotland, Ireland & Argentina will cause more than a few upsets.

    France will be all over the place until the knock-out stages. Then be like the Wobblies (see above)

    Saffas are on the up and have some great players. Could well win it.

    Awe Blacks will keep their powder dry....

    Back on track after Japan caused a slight blip in my predictions.

    This one isn't looking so bad, either! 🙂

    The benefit of keeping the powder dry is no one has time to properly scout us

    @canefan Though I suspect if DMac had stayed fit, Mo'unga would have been a bit part player.

    @canefan No doubt!

    Be interesting to see where DMac fits in next year. There's quite a crowd in the outside backs.

    It is a testament to our strength that a guy who was in the team a year ago can be out just like that, purely because another guy stepped up and was that much better

    Always sliding doors, people sometimes forget that BB was having a pretty average season pre the Wales series in 2016.

    @taniwharugby Yep - me too.

    Richie probably would have made the squad, so Jordie (or BFA) would have been watching it on TV.
