Patty was also excellent when he came on, put in a number of massive hits which is the point of difference he provides. Both had very good games.
Good to see SB go well, allows us to use Patty as a weapon in the last 30 mins.

@No-Quarter Exactly right. Love the way Pat stops people in their tracks. He made some big tackles when South Africa were hot on attack.

Very very satisfactory. Gave the home unions a fright with 15 odd minutes video footage of Warriors style rugby against a willing rush defence and come away with 17 "flukey" points.
I've never seen a dominant team, the boks, so shell shocked
It was bizarre seeing the ABs playing like a bullied under 13s team while we unpacked the new powder.
Props tackled well.
Tu'ungafasi played really well. Fronted up to the big fluffybunnies and was good supporting Reece when he irritated some bok forwards.
Pat T hit well too.
Was funny watching nugget be all regal and calm over a ruck and then we'd unleash a back peddling hot potato play, for a while.
You got the sense we were creating broken play as much as possible, especially with the contested box kicks.
Really good and impressive win - under the first game circumstances - against an expectation laden and fired up Bokke.
We played it different and clever
Ugly look replacing the skipper ( who's not a hooker) with 30 to go and a shot at the win. Hope he was injured.
Mostly our defence is what I'll watch in the replay.

That first 15 mins was pretty shite, but once they settled, they looked good. I do like BB at fullback and a bit of space to wind up. Hope Cane is ok, he looked VERY pissed when he ripped off his tape. Bit concerned with the first up tackles, and how our scrum looked near the end, but other than that a good first outing against quality opposition. S Barrett had a great game.

At this stage I would have ALB/Crotty midfield start again vs Boks. Goodhue will really have to show something special to break into the match day 23.

@Mokey commentators said cane passed test. ABs coaches normally very cautious, so they just kept him off, and he wants to be on, I guess
Also hats off to Coles for not reaching to ask the off the ball and Jersey pulling he was getting. Targeted but didn't react

I watched this on tv1 to try and get some value out of my tax dollars, big mistake . They had Anika Moa on in the build up to the match . Despite having the physique of a front rower she knows fuck all about the game . My mrs agreed they put her on just to fuck me off .
The game itself was great I thought , we were slow to start again though.
