@Nepia I was looking at that just yesterday and wondering whether to give a go. Knowing it's not a comedy I just might (I quite like a good spy thriller.)

At the moment I'm watching Schitt's Creek, just started season 3. Some episodes I like, some annoy me. But they are nice and short, so I can fit them around writing sessions.

I'm also watching Schitt's Creek as an easy watch comedy as I'm going to sleep. I like it although David and Moira can get too much at times - but I guess that is by design.

I finally started watching this last week - bloody funny show and bat shit crazy as well with the change up each season.

    And yes Natalie Zea. 🙂

@Nepia I know some people really love the character, but David irritates the shit out of me at times. Lol.

@Nepia I started Detour as well....scene in ep 1 or 2 where they were telling the kids about sex had me in tears!

SOme is OTT (the vomit scene) but is bloody good so far!!

As it goes along it just gets more and more OTT. I do a lot of laughing out loud while watching it.

What is interesting is I think they had an idea for the first season but nothing set in stone for the second so just winged it and spread the story wider.

    Ah

Yes it is. Love it. There's a matter-of-fact menace behind it all.

Without searching this thread, I loved The Detectorists. Quirky brit comedy from Gareth of The Office fame.

Yeah, a nice gentle watch with OTT characters that are somehow quite relatable. You want to laugh at them but end up sympathetic to them.

Might be late to the party here but Marianne on Netflix was bleeeeeping scary!! Just finished it and I'm scared to turn out the lights! Dragged out a bit towards the end but some good frights throughout. 8/10 "Va Chier!"

    Finished S1 of Detour.

Last couple of eps not as god as early ones, still some funny AF stuff in them though.

Yeah, I think it's hit and miss, some episodes aren't nearly as funny as others but I generally find some funny stuff in even the poorer ones.
