    @taniwharugby as you were then.

It is curious, I don't recall a crane being at that wharf and I'd always thought it was just for tankers rather than cargo.

That would explain why I've never seen it.

@taniwharugby Well they got this bit wrong:

"owners of the German automobiles are the least competent, considerate and honest. On the road, that is. Not in general."

Definitely in general as well. And they missed out angriest and most violent. Missed the stereotype there.

    A few other notables:
I be pissed off if i drove a Seat as well
    Volvo drivers are boring
    Mazda drivers are Bogans

    And this:
    2c325d5c-4760-47af-b5f4-9b9a5365e0b1-image.png

You presumably don't care about being a bad driver if you're driving one of these.

@Snowy Audi's seem to bring out the worst in other drivers too. Or maybe it's simply me.

I seem to be a magnet for bogans in BMW imports or imported Toyota Supra's who want to flaunt their machismo.

Maybe it's the combination of Audi and personalised plate (in my defence a gift) but they really seem to think their dicks will grow a couple of inches if they drag me off at the lights.

I meanwhile am far from a great driver but I am courteous. You have to be kind to the little people.....

@taniwharugby Oh I forgot to mention this:
"found that Audi drivers were also the least likely to own up to causing damage,"

    An insurance man's dream.

@Snowy well Insurers dont like you to accept blame anyway...whether you are at fault or not.

@dogmeat so do they drag you off, or do you learn them whippersnappers a lesson?

#metoo. They usually think my car is an A4 (probably due to vaping smoke in the Supra) so are a little shocked when they get left behind.
I get the same shit when they think the TVR is an MX5.

I have just been reminded of this thread by going out in my beaten up, 15 year old hilux ute. I just had 3 different drivers smile and wave at me (possibly pity but I'll take it) or they are all @jegga who would wave at anyone in a hilux.

I live in the 3rd world so you actually have to pull over on the single lane, unsealed road to let people get by, and my insurance guy started all this so I prefer not to crash. We also have a one lane bridge, with a give way sign, which I adhere to. I don't do these things to make bloody friends, I do it because I have to, however, I get friendly waves when I am in the ute.

I am the same grumpy, inconsiderate, impolite prick, what ever I am driving, but the hand gestures I receive are completely different when I am in the Audi. I'll leave it there.
