I refute everything you say, I found the article in which Benji Marshall and his wife have decided that now is the perfect time for a baby particularly uplifting.

I have just been reminded of this thread by going out in my beaten up, 15 year old hilux ute. I just had 3 different drivers smile and wave at me (possibly pity but I'll take it) or they are all @jegga who would wave at anyone in a hilux.
I live in the 3rd world so you actually have to pull over on the single lane, unsealed road to let people get by, and my insurance guy started all this so I prefer not to crash. We also have a one lane bridge, with a give way sign, which I adhere to. I don't do these things to make bloody friends, I do it because I have to, however, I get friendly waves when I am in the ute.
I am the same grumpy, inconsiderate, impolite prick, what ever I am driving, but the hand gestures I receive are completely different when I am in the Audi. I'll leave it there.

Well you brung him up right.
Not the vehicle I was talking about initially, but some fluffybunnies did this to my other one at the bach last week. Before and after:
When I find them I am making an awful lot of socks.

@jegga yea one of my mates was into 4x4ing and he had one he loved, despite the shit he got.
My mates dad had one that he couldn't kill and it actually went really well off road. He traded it on a jap import pajero that shat itself six months later.
