Full-back Blair Kinghorn [below], centre Pete Horne, lock Ben Toolis and hooker George Turner get their first chance to make a mark on this year’s tournament from kick-off, with recent squad addition Henry Pyrgos handed the opportunity to do likewise from the bench.

Wing Tommy Seymour and back-row John Barclay complete the starting side, coming in from outside the match-day 23 that faced the Pacific Islanders.

I just fucking love the Russian enthusiasm. They're not cynical, and in fact go out of their way to generally play "clean"by the looks. They'll lose this, maybe by a lot, but they're enjoyable to watch.

Scotland are pretty poop eh. That was a try gone begging from the 22 turnover. Ends up with the 9 running lateral and taking the wingers space, then passing to him once he's dragged 3 defenders across. Most teams would have blitzed that.

    Oh, now a try.

Fuck that's some streaky shit. Russia not covering the back well enough tho - if that 10 is going to do nothing but kick and pass from 10m behind the gain line, he should be back there

Like the USA, Russia need to find someone who is a bit more all-round at 10. Gaisin has a good boot, but not much else.

    Instinct, exposure, and regular competition.
