Tackling is something you can coach ,but at the end of the tackling comes from the heart..on saying that credit to Ta$man..they are showing they are a quality team and have showed the Magpies the upmost respect by naming their best team today when they could of rested guys...very impressive from the visitors
So to summerise
- We didn't show enough heart
- Full credit to Ta$man
- real game of two halfs
- some things to work on before next week
- back to the drawing board
-thanks to the ladies in the kitchen

@Chris Leicester signed for 3 years. Hopefully Lotima goes for another contract somewhere other than the Crusaders. Too many good outsides.
I thought the Landers or Chiefs would look at signing Tima but havenโt heard anything
No Crusaders donโt need any more outside backs they are looking at Mid Field back up options I believe -

@Chris-B Nankivell has really improved this year, starting with his time at the Chiefs.
Yeah - he's possibly NZ's most improved player. Last year he wasn't starting for the Mako - now he's likely a contender for the ABs 2020 midfield - assuming SBW and Crotty are both gone.

I disagree with the "We didn't show enough heart" bit.

@Stargazer was just trying to roll out as many cliches as possible for the post game interview.

One thing Ta$man does better than any other team in the Mitre 10 cup ,is move the ball wide at speed..I know your all gonna think I am on drugs, the one team i would like to see them play them again is Auckland , I do believe Auckland has a backline that can match Ta$man ..and I think they have physicality in the forwards, Dalton Papalii did not play in the first game and was quite outstanding and was very impressed with the Aucks against a very determined Taranaki team last night..
I am not saying Auckland could possibly win, but they will bring some heat ..and I suspect that 40-0 thumping will be enough motivation after their last outing
Only issue for me with Auckland is at scrum against a very good Ta$man tight five. -

@Steven-Harris I'm anticipating that you'll get your wish. And anything can happen in play-off rugby.
Ta$man is good, but not unbeatable. And look at what Canterbury is rolling out as the season reaches the pointy end.
That said - 48/50 points for the regular season!!! Woo hoo - what an effort. Convincingly Minor Premeiers - and you gotta bank those wins when you can!
Freddie seems to have written some lyrics specifically for this game...
You say black, I say white
You say bark, I say bite
You say shark, I say hey man!!! -
Boy, that is an impressive Ta$man team, both individually and collectively, but you'd have to say that HB were shown up in certain areas which must be a concern going forward. I really thought they would front up better.
The semis will be absolutely fascinating. Getting top spot on the ladder is a huge advantage so you would have to say that favouritism has swung back towards BOP.

@Chris-B Just as well you didn't include the next 2 lines. You might have triggered @MN5 and @Rancid-Schnitzel.
Now I want to know what the last two lines are.
