Yeah. It was the relief as much as anything.
Firstly we weren’t shit. Then we won.@Luigi said in RWC: England v New Zealand (SF1):

@Kirwan Absolutely mate. Obvious mistakes that were baffling. How many times did we hear about the importance of experience under pressure, then it was dumped. Very 2003.
Yep, except Franks though. The exception that proves the rule

Kept the wrong players too long, got rid of the right ones too soon. Pretty much sums up the last 4 years

Too many cute selections, cane not being there was a massive mistake. We didn’t play our best ten at ten, and Richies poor defence was ruthlessly exposed. All the things people have been worried about all year in evidence tonight.
Don’t mind losing to a better team, doesn’t mean we had to make it so easy for them.

Warren Gatland and Tony Brown, come on down!

The reality is , the scoreboard doesn’t reflect the dominance , it probably saves us from the embarrassment it could have been

Agreed - easily a thirty point drubbing.

Every failed WC campaign characterised by a panic selection. Thought Hansen above that, so disappointed.

@Kirwan Yeah we copped a bit for it as well. Still rather be proven wrong haha but yeah, this was coming. We should have been destroyed in Wellington against the Boks and got destroyed in Perth before papering the cracks at Eden Park against Australia.

Oh fuck yes, that could have been a 30 point hiding

Jordie Barrett’s brainfart was almost as unforgivable as Aaron Smith’s ridiculous up and under. Fucking muppets.
But it’s Retallick and Read who were worst - I’ll have to check the stats, but both got run through like they weren’t there.

Hopefully get a complete clean out in the coaching box. No Foster, No McLeod. Fresh ideas needed.
