Saw Bond.

Despite mixed reviews I've gotta say I really enjoyed it. At least three awesome chases, an iconic tough fluffybunny henchman in the vein of Jaws/Odd job/Tee Hee and an even more iconic lead villain played by Christolph Watlz. I personally don't reckon he is an amazing 'actor' as such but despite being softy spoken and not having physical presence he exudes menace like no other. M and Q are particularly superb support to Bond too. I hope the rumours are incorrect and Craig doesn't hang up the holster but it seems like Connery he has grown to despise the role. Oh, and there's a bit of a twist too......

Monica Belluci isn't in it for long but more than enough time for M4L to whip one out and then wipe it on the seat in front of him.

You have all no doubt seen it, but I watched the classic aussie comedy 'The Castle' tonight and it still stands up just awesomely, easily one of my favpurite comedies of all time.

I'm the complete opposite. I was bored out of my tree.

I had to make a decision on leaving early and missing some of the movie or taking a later ferry and I chose to leave early, and to tell the truth I wasn't really bothered.

It was similar to Quantum of Solace in meh-ness IMHO but at least that one had Olga Kurlyenko on screen 85% of the time.

I don't mind Craig in the role, and as you say M and Q are good, and I think Waltz is a good actor but was average in this. Not trying to disagree with you 100% - I agree Belluci isn't in it long enough. ;)

I went to see Bond a week or two ago and I thought it a spectacular film but a little disjointed. Sort of like "hey guys! I've got this great idea". "Hey I've got a great idea too". So they put both ideas in but don't really link them well - leaves you a little bit lost really. The wrestler guy was a great baddie though and Monica is still smoking.

That movie must hold some kind of record for quotable lines. You can just about rattle off the whole script without thinking about it.

That's for sure. We even say "I just love mugs" at our house... and that's probably not even in the top half of the best lines from the movie.

So many classic 80s movies started with the spinning Orion "O". When you saw that you knew it was movie time.

Put me down as one of those bored by Spectre. Action scenes were good, but not tense or exciting, plot was good, although a little drawn out, Totty was, for me, no good.

I think it suffered a bit from following-on after Skyfall. Which was just fricking awesome.

The first one was awesome, but then what do you expect, it was directed by a boy from the Bay ;).

The second one was spectacularly bad but had Olga Kurleynko and the previous one was ok.

Casino Royale is Craig's best.....still...shit Vespa was sexy. Quantum of Solace sucked in comparison but yeah, Agree about the eye candy in that. I think it's main problem was a couple of bad guys who were about as scary and menacing as the three stooges.

Spectre is better than Skyfall I reckon, both have the same strengths and weaknesses. I still reckon the best bad guy is Scaramanga from Man with the Golden Gun, one of Moores 70s efforts.

If you can't keep up with the conversation Virg just don't contribute ok?

Jaws is clearly a henchman, I'm talking lead villains ( which admittedly I didn't specify )

yea, but you talk an awful lot of shit, so it's easy for people to get sidetracked...

They've had Rocky movies on Foxtel this week. Rocky movies are awesome. Sure they got worse as they went on, but some of them are awesome. I think Clubber Lang is my favourite Rocky "villian"

And talking shit makes me unique on here???

You can always rely on Sly to slur his way through an 'inspirational' speech in every movie he is in and be unintelligible for half of it.

Good old Carl Weathers, held his own against Arnie and Sly in the 80s then decided a movie called 'Action Jackson' was a good idea.
