I should add: in the last month since the Tesla Model 3 dropped, I've seen about 8 of them driving around my part of Sydney. These might otherwise be BMW 3 series or MB C Class owners who are going electric. It is interesting that I might see a Model S or X occasionally, but now it will become so commonplace as not to be remarked upon.
Tesla sold 329 of them in September, placing them third in passenger cars behind Corolla and Yaris.
It's one month, but that's really interesting. Starting to see a lot of them around too; they're not the novelty they were. Entry level is 75k here, and it's kind of a leap that is meaningful for a lot of users; go electric for an extra 30k. May not be the most efficient way to reduce carbon footprint, but it's a very visible one.
Is it that high? Here I'd say around $15k but it's hard to compare feature lists between manufacturers.
The initial sales figures will be high, as those waiting 3 years to get their Model 3 take delivery. Likely it'll taper off and then jump when a new ship arrives.

Tauranga City Council has got those Kona's as work vehicles and they really are terrific

They need to employ a designer. Could easily lend itself to looking like the R18 for example.

Considering you could buy a new S1000RR for that, no one is going to pay $24K for a LAMS bike. They're delusional.

I like it. And I don't even care that they've created a Mustang SUV. The design is pretty damn good for what it is. Certainly more character than the repugnant Teslas.

@NTA Did you see the launch? I thought it was an immense practical joke and they'd bring out the real one. One not drawn by a five year old with just a ruler.
The funniest bit was the window demonstration. Even the audience, who make Apple fanboys look discerning, went quiet.
