Cricket: NZ vs England

Through chance I've seen a lot of Wagner, Southee, and Mitchell bowling in this innings, and only heard Henry and Santner bowling on the radio.
Should that stop me from making a snarky comment about the Henry/Ferguson selection?
I fear it's too late for the reverse jinx to be successful for Henry in this game...

No.

@Gunner chance for Jeets to just bat time and hopefully find some form with it

Raval is a walking wicket either way these days. Shame there's no obvious replacement, as batting with just ten in Australia is less than ideal...

@Donsteppa True, except he hit it.

If ever there was a scenario tailor made for Jeet. Freedom to bat without any kind of time or run rate pressure.
This feels like a black caps collapse coming on. If we're as good as we hope we are we should be able to dig in and calmly bat out the test.

One thing about DRS is that it gives a much better idea of form. No way an in form batsman doesn't instantly review that.
Do we have a warm up before the Perth test to try and get Raval back into nick?

Unfortunate thing with Jeet is that he's hardly played this "summer". - at least, not at first class level. Three innings for Auckland and now three for NZ - 48 runs in total. No short form cricket.
Looking closer - one of Auckland's games was rained out and the other two were low scoring affairs. Hopefully, he's played a bit of club cricket or he's badly underdone for test cricket.

Raval v Starc/Cummins/Hazlewood is just men against boy type stuff. It'll be a bloodbath.
-
Aussie have set us up by going from one pink ball test to another, while NZ has no warm-up game under lights.
-
@Bovidae Even if they'd given us a warm up game it would have been at the Coober Pedy Domain on a pitch of rolled opal mine tailings!
We're probably better off practicing at home rather than at the mercy of those deck stacking w@nkers!

If its any consolation the pink ball hasnt done much in Adelaide and Perth has been a road the last couple of years.. in saying that Jeets up against that lot, is a big ask
