@nzzp yeah they all seem to put it in pre-season, so comes down to other issues that see the results fall the way they do.

I hope at least Nuia/Eklund get proper minutes off the bench. If Parsons starts he shouldn't be playing more than 50 minutes max.

Not necessarily. Captain, yes, part of leadership group, no. Kevin M was part of the leadership group of ABs for a long time, even when not a starter

Brutal? Ha, weak. We* in the military had to do all this with heavy loads, and weapons.

• By 'we' in the military, I mean those who didn't try hard enough at school and ended up as a grunt, or similar. As aircrew, I obviously went from air-conditioned accommodation/ hotel to chauffered air conditioned vehicle to air-conditioned jet. An officer should never run, as it alarms the men.

@KiwiMurph I agree it is good to see Howlett involved with the team. They even supplied a couple of old burnt out cars on the beach for him to jump on! Can anyone I.D. the player who is the front right stretcher bearer next to San Nock at 4m.52s in the vid? It's been annoying me that I can't work out who he is.
Edit: I think the same player in the white T shirt in this pic - could it be Tamati Tua?
