It was a bit of both. He's hardly giving the batsmen the benefit of any doubt for a ball that's barely tickling the leg stump on the inaccurate ball tracker.
But Kane walking across his stumps and missing a fairly straight one is 100% a shit shot, once again.

I do think that if these two are still batting at drinks in the middle session tomorrow, that will be the time to assess the required run rate.
