@NTA wondering why they declared before letting Warner make 400

Game to win. Weather forecast looking dodgy.

    Clearly wanted second place.

The "maybe they don't want Warner to have the record" comment smacked of conspiracy.

Lol, plenty of others are questioning this decision, too..

Warner mentioned in the same breathe as Brian Lara? Nah sorry

BBL - Match at Manuka called off between Sydney Thunder and Adelaide Strikers due to poor visibility, aka smoke from the fires. Quite apocalyptic and then the wind died off so the haze remained.

Mitch Marsh getting the moon out in Perth.

Australia should definitely get him in the side for boxing day

Heat v Thunder reduced to 8 overs a side. Brisbane batting first.

They've just lost their first after 5 overs. 90-1

    Banton with 56 off 19

Now Lynn goes for 31 off 13.

    2-90

Did anyone else watch Stoinis's innings last night? 147 off 79. The Stars didn't lose a wicket until the last over, and they had a couple of hundred on the board.

It was brutal hitting, some massive shots. There was one straight 6 that sounded like it came out of a gun it was hit that hard.

Unsurprisingly their 219 was far too much

I saw the last 60 runs. Some incredible hitting.

I know his Shield form hasn't been great, and T20 is not Test cricket, but I would be taking him on the tour to Bangladesh

There's rumours that Aus want to replace Wade with a batting allrounder. They may even be looking at Henriques again.. or Marsh
Stoinis seems like the far better long term bet and it's a low pressure tour

I saw the Indian innings. The charge never came in the last ~20 overs because of the wickets.

I expected Aus to win easily after that.. but not that easily

Are there any highlights online? The Indian broadcasters do a good job of locking down youtube

@Duluth that's an incredible result, absolutely toweled them up at home. The Indians are not used to that.

The Aussie Cricket Youtube account doesn't have anything, and I couldn't find the Indian account (if they even have one), but apparently Cricket Pakistan to the rescue:

Interesting how Steve Waugh is surprised he was still being booed going back out.

Steve Waugh is still the king though. Here is further evidence:

Absolutely. What sealed it for me was when he had to tough out a torn medial ligament during the Ashes in England. He said after he scored the century that he had to show England that Aussie were tougher.

I was at the match and was kind of supporting England until then

Waugh also seems to have made a lifetime enemy of Rent-a-quote Warnie, so even better.

    Edit:

Speaking to ABC’s News Breakfast, he said: “I’m responding [to Warne] by not responding because I don’t think it needs a response.”
