it's pretty standard at lower levels to play "left and right" at flanker if that's how your trio is made up.

And i would say it's less about the set piece, and more about how they set up on the field.

@Tim Tahs are going to be a fascinating watch this year - new coaches bringing in a completely new style - some sneaky good recruits and a handful of Aus U20s stars.

@KiwiMurph I'll admit that I've had this expectation before and it didn't happen, but I think the Tahs will be one of the stronger teams in the competition this year. Definitely a candidate for the play-offs.

This ref has no feel for the nature of the game. Second yellow in a preseason game; this time Tomkinson for coming in from the side.

Pretty messy half, highlanders up 14-7 with 2 x YC, scrums were messy AF...pre-season joy.
