@Bones Haha, Hirini is the one and only captain. If she doesn't play, it's Nathan-Wong.

Ah hah, cheers. He also called Fluhler and Saili captains and maybe Williams too!

Just looked at the results of the earlier games that I missed. Quite an upset in the first game, with Fijiana beating the USA 19 to 14.

Two tries to the AB7s already, First, a good team try scored by Tim Mikkelson, who gifted the second try to Caleb Clarke ((who was closer to the posts).

    14 - 0 to NZ after 4 minutes.

And as I type that, Dickson scores the third try.

    19 - 0 NZ

Yellow card for a Welshman, who pulled Dickson down while both were jumping for the ball.

    Clarke scores his second.

    NZ leads 33 - 0

This combination between Rayasi and Nanai-Seturo, who scores his first try.

    40 - 0 AB7s

Rayasi scores his second. Good to see the AB7s going for a high score, which may be important for the overall standings after the pool games. They don't have an easy pool with Fiji and Kenya.

    47 - 0 AB7s

Is the set up the same as Hamilton? Only pool winners advance?

Rayasi looking much more dangerous and intense than previous. Clarke is chunky as eh, mistook him for Ng Shiu at first. Koroi a couple of errors but looked comfortable. Men looking bloody good.

Women - not good to say Nathan-Wong and Tui both go off with what looked like bad shoulder injuries. I know it might be the plan to only bring her on at the back end, but I'd like to see way more minutes for Broughton, she always carves up.
