I've been to a few Big Ten college football games but always preferred college basketball for atmosphere.

However, attending a game at a venue like The Horseshoe (Ohio State Stadium), Michigan's stadium in Ann Arbor or at Alabama would be a fantastic occasion. These stadiums have capacities in excess of 100,000 and are always full.

College football is HUGE, both in terms of fan support and revenue. It's interesting that only about 2% of the players actually make it to the NFL so there is a huge untapped resource for USA rugby.

Carolina is now 13-0 and Cam Newton must have the MVP wrapped up.... if only cause the NFL won't give the award to Brady.

49ers lost to the Cleveland Browns today. Fire everybody within a five-mile radius of the team.

'72 Dolphins can crack out the champagne yet again after Carolina lost to Atlanta to end their perfect season. But more importantly I can crack out the champagne after winning the TSF fantasy football comp :)

Chip Kelly fired by the eagles..

I wonder if the new coach will make better use of Murray.. Who has been a waste under Kelly..

There goes CKap to Eagles now that Kelly has been fired. Bradford will be looking for a new team, most likely as a back up....what a bust. Tbh about Murray - he's a slightly above average RB who had one season behind a stellar o-line.

yeh, but i don't know why the eagles picked him up when Murrays style doesn't suit their set up.. it was weird..

And somehow the Broncos end up top seeds and clinch homefield advantage. Which is nice, we get to go 1-and-done at home i guess....

Tomsula at the Niners = goooorne

Pettine at the Browns = goooorne (as well as the GM).

A few more look like the will be out by the end of the week

Thank Christ!!!! :good: :greeting:

Was a tad worried the owners would stick with him after the win today. Tomsula should have never been a head coach, he was way out of his depth through out the season and it is still confusing why they went with him for their internal hiring instead of Vic Fangio. Wonder if they will take the Stanford route again and interview David Shaw.... the GM also has to go too as he has sucked at drafting talent.

Browns are just do their traditional end of season thing so meh.

Jed York should give himself an uppercut for pushing Harbaugh out

Expect some more coaching changes in the next few days/weeks (e.g. Coughlin, Pagano).

I'd like to see the Panthers win through but Seattle will be tough in the NFC. Can the Bengals finally win a playoff game? The Steelers are the darkhorse in the AFC.

He's goooonnnneee. New head coach, if they get a decent one, will clean house of any project players regardless who it is.

Coughlin has retired and Pagano just got a contract extension with the Colts.

As Seattle beat the Cards, a Pack win would have meant the Vikings would play Green Bay again, not the Redskins. That's the quirk of the NFL seedings and tie breakers. I know what you mean though as the Redskins were only the best in a woeful NFC East.

So we have the following wildcard games:

AFC

Kansas City (5) at Houston (4)

Pittsburgh (6) at Cincinnati (3)

NFC

Seattle (6) at Minnesota (3)

Green Bay (5) at Washington (4)

KC to beat Houston. The Chiefs are the hottest team in the NFL - a 10-game winning streak.

7 coaching vacancies by last count. I saw on ESPN that on average one quarter of the 32 NFL coaches have been replaced in each of the last 4 years.

KC all over Houston right now. I've only watched a couple of minutes but they look more dominant than the 13-0 scoreline would suggest.
