Then a beauty from Timmah to get Ashwin for a goldie.
132 for 7.
Haven't seen that much but the impression I get is the wicket is seaming, but not THAT much.

Yeah a bit of movement. Might actually be just the right amount given that when it is really swinging around the batsmen play and miss a lot.
Three caught behind to the keeper and first slip, just enough movement to find the edge? Southee's two bowled were gems where they completely played and missed though.

Oh no, no chance for 5 because one of the Indians got run out. Southee got 4, Jamieson got 4, and Boult got 1. All out for 165 puts us in the driver's seat, now it's time for the batters to ram home the advantage

Academic now, but if Jamieson had got the last instead of Southee he'd have got five.

Yup. Great start to his test career. Hopefully he can stay healthy, his attitude and technique look good enough to prime him for a prolonged run in the side. Add Wags in the next game and things might get ugly for the Indians

With Tim, Boult, Wags and Kylo that is a strong 4 prong pace attack. Add CdG and that is a group that will challenge any batting lineup

Sliding door moment right there. I think he would have got a chance but who knows when that might have been. And Blundell gets off the mark after facing 18 deliveries. Good stuff
