Good news for crusaders, less travel

Players won't be too happy losing the extra airpoints though.

The away teams won 4 out of 6 this weekend. Those were mostly upset results too

    That's good for the competition

UPDATE: Brumbies, Reds embrace Super Rugby relocation plans

UPDATE: Brumbies, Reds embrace Super Rugby relocation plans

I can only assume that Sky will still broadcast these games.

So the Blues game has been moved earlier and the Sunwolves v Crusaders game will slot into that time slot (3:35pm K.O) followed by Reds v Bulls at 6:15pm.

@Unite Yes, Blues game has been moved to earlier time, which is actually a good thing. Might attract a bigger crowd late afternoon. Below is from the SANZAAR website:

K/o times (in NZT) on Sat 14 March:

    4.25pm: Blues v Lions (Auckland)
    6.35pm: Sunwolves v Crusaders (Brisbane)
    9.15pm: Reds v Bulls (Brisbane)

Dunno where else to put this. Akira talks about last season and how close he was to signing with the Hurricanes.

@Yeetyaah he may still do that, depends if Sotutu locks down a starting role or not. I would prefer Ioane to Fifita, the guy is a twit.

Contracted until 2021. The Hurricanes deal fell through around the same time as Umaga got dropped as coach...

By the way, the list of players with contracts expiring in 2020 is still quite long!

Most important players (current & fringe ABs) of who the re-signing or departure still has to be announced (if my list is complete, I may have missed announcements):

    Scott Barrett
    Mitch Drummond
    Gareth Evans
    Vaea Fifita
    Jack Goodhue
    Luke Jacobson
    Nepo Laulala
    Atu Moli
    Angus Ta'avao
    Patrick Tuipulotu

    Also plenty of non-ABs.
