@shark typical response from a rugby boofhead . You watch how many rugby clubs won’t survive this event. I know of 3 in chch that were in trouble before this.
There’s boof heads in every sport. Yes there’s been plenty of incidents of the past few years. The Aussie media feed off it. NZRFU are just lucking the nz media are paid to keep quiet about all there incidents. Every knows about Dan Carter’s off field activities.

It's truly stunning that a well informed sports fan can claim the instances of immoral player behaviour are even between codes. Sure, there's the odd AB who's gotten away with dropping a few pingers and/or doing a bit of rooting around (along with plenty of other young blokes) but I don't recall any rugby players drinking their own piss or treating a puppy as a sex object.

As for clubs going under , if the warriors don’t play the nrl only has 7 games every week. The contract with the telcos states they must play 8 games every week. So no one gets paid. -

So no one gets paid.@chchfanatic I've been involved in many a court session, and end of season trips are as bad if not worse. Plenty of disgusting behaviours which at the time seemed funny, mostly! But you can't compare Div 5 club rugby to highly paid professional athletes. For some ridiculous reason NRL players seem prone to doing stupid / lewd / immoral shit either publicly or on social media. You can't tell me the union guys are doing all the same shit and just aren't as unlucky or miraculously have it brushed under the carpet.

@shark that could be the sordid straw/thread that breaks earths back lol. Most of my stuff is about others or what i've been told happened cause fk'd if I remembered

No Warriors player has scored a try in 160 minutes of rugby league.

So... so far the Warriors have played 130 minutes of rugby league this NRL season for precisely zero points on the scoreboard.
Is there a more uninspiring coaching team doing the rounds anywhere, or are Kearney and co dreary beyond peer?
@Donsteppa more so the players are just shit!!! I would only pick ah mai, Harris, green, fusitua, mamalo and rts as first class players... nz league development is crap and has been for a long time

In the old days the Warriors had access to most of the emerging talent in NZ. These days they compete with all the teams in the league

In the old days the Warriors had access to most of the emerging talent in NZ. These days they compete with all the teams in the league
@canefan being involved in secondary sport and league I would say the level has dropped dramatically in the last 10 years. U look at a nz u18/17/15 team and only a handful have made nrl. Can’t rely on local talent. Harsh but true

@shark they had a outrageous rule back in the day when I played a year at Shirley. If you could suck yourself off you didn’t have to do court session. Obviously not thinking anyone could do it. Up steps a guy Barry Baxter. Boom. Not something I want to see again.

Most of that team weren't really local talent. Even a bunch of the NZers in the team came through pathways other than the Warriors. I think only Fus, Ken, Harris-Tevita and Papali'i are actual "locals".
It's just a poorly assembled squad.
