"Southland Boys’ has always had a proud tradition in sport and is a strong rugby school, naming 22 All Blacks amongst its Old Boys and being the school that has produced the most All Black rugby captains."

OK I've found the SBHS list of ABs. It doesn't list them by position and there's a lot of the 21 I've not heard of (15 of the 21 played before 1965 and none of them are famous All Blacks) so here are the contemporary ones:

          15 M Muliaina
          14
          11
          13 S Pokere
          12
          10 B McKechnie
          9
          8
          7 P Henderson
          6
          5
          4
          3 C Dermody
          2 C Flynn
          1 J Mackintosh

@Dice Bates and Lose as well.

I remember watching Inga terrorise our right winger in a 1st XV game.

@shark Surely you're heard of Billy Stead (one of the greatest of the Originals)? Should be 1st 5 but you can slip him into 2nd 5 if you want to keep McKechnie there.

(15 of the 21 played before 1965 and none of them are famous All Blacks)

Stead must rank as one of the Great All Blacks:

                                http://stats.allblacks.com/asp/profile.asp?ABID=832

Two loses to Wellington province, but he won every game he played in the Black jeaey against overseas opposition.

@sparky Like Stead, I suggested Mark Nicholls for the Wellington College team.

I’d have Karne Hesketh on the wing for Napier as a RWC try scorer for Japan against South Africa

And If they are playing in their high school positions, put Colin Bourke at fullback

Yeah Glen Horton would be my fullback he was amazing at high school. Karne was 2nd5 at 1st 15 level (openside prior to that) only moved wider once he got to Alhambra.
