So should I actually watch this thing or not?
Yes
I'm really worried there's no way it can live up to the hype.

No chance of that

For those at home with toddlers give the Aussie cartoon Bluey a go ( TVNZ onDemand ).
It really is excellent and even better it doesn't try to portray the dad as a bumbling idiot like some others do. My daughter (almost 4) and I have got some great play ideas from it and she just loves it.

Think Mike Tyson regrets owning his now...

@Virgil omg what's happened to Mike Tyson!?
Nothing I hope, just saw him on the news here saying he regrets buying his tigers... no mention of regret about biting Holyfield’s ear or going to prison..

Killing Eve S3 starts streaming on Monday. Hooray!
They have had to release it same time in the UK this time around. I imagine that delaying screening as they have previous seasons would have caused a root this time around.
Edit: even better means you can watch on BBC iPlayer without randomly placed ad breaks like TVNZ OnDemand.

@Crucial TVNZ On Demand is an average platform...i appreciate we dont pay directly for TVNZ On Demand, but the whole point of streaming is to do away with ad breaks!
I'll probably wait for the 16th on normal TV1 and record it and then fast forward the ads.

I don't mind the ads on a Freeview platform. You still have to pay one way or another.
My gripe is that with broadcast TV they at least find scene breaks or the like to throw the ads in but the On Demand platform just chucks in a break almost randomly. It gets really jarring.
Luckily if you can get iPlayer you get the shows without ads at all. Paid for, of course, by the brits and their TV licence -
In OZ SBS has ads, which meant I didn't watch it for ages but there were just too many shows I wanted to watch on there so I eventually I bit the bullet. On my TV I don't have an issue with the ads, but on my laptop in at least 1 in every 3 shows the ads tank and I have to refresh the whole site.
I stupidly watched The Little Drummer Girl on SBS with ads when I had it on Stan the whole time ... upper cut to myself.
