We need a Marshall Raylan Givens crossover episode of Bosch.

That could get me back watching Bosch.

I have now finished S1 of Bosch so will continue on while Amazon Prime is still cheap for me.

I thought an episode of ER was going to breakout in that season with so many actors from that show involved.

Castlerock - Enjoyable escapism - I enjoyed most of season 1 more but like the ending of season 2 better.
Outsider - More serious than above, if that's possible, but still very good
    Mr Mercedes - Season 1 excellent -Season 2 excellent - Season 3 excellent ...

    All Stephen King source material.

Watched this over a couple of sittings, highly recommend. One of those ones where you're sitting there experiencing fascination and "what the fuck am I watching" at the same time.

@Bones I think they touch on that plane crash in the movie Siege at Jadotville.

@Nepia to be honest, they kind of only touch on it in the documentary about it!

Anyone started watching the Chicago Bulls documentary The Last Dance?

I'm not a huge fan of basketball, but any sport lover will want to see this.

How good is it though. I was a massive MJ fan and I pretty much quit basketball when he did.

Just watch the first two episodes. I am giddy with happiness at watching that footage.

@Hooroo first I find out voodoo is from Laos, now I find out Hooroo was in the NBA. It's been a good few days of discovery.

You made me re-read what I wrote. I see how that seems and I’ll own that shit.

Battlestar? I own it (huge nerd).

It's currently free on Syfy if you can get past the geo lock.

Watched the first episode of The Stranger, but I'm a bit meh about it, so not sure if I'll continue. Tonight watched ep 1 of Peaky Blinders S2, but was a bit gory. Might save for another time. I'm kinda pissed I've watched all the Broadchurch episodes, cos that is what I'm in the mood for. Even Killing Eve (which I loved the first two seasons of) isn't quite doing it for me.

@Mokey The Stranger was a grower for us. Initially gave up after an episode and a half but came back to it and ended up enjoying it. Nothing special though.

@Mokey knew you'd be gutted after Broadchurch. What about Dublin Murders? Per Bones below have heard the Stranger is a grower too, next on my watch list, the book is good so I expect most will enjoy the story. I'm nearly half way through s2 Killing Eve, golly it's sooo good!!!

@R-L yeah nah Dublin Murders is shit. Opposite of the stranger, starts off great guns then tumbles into a bucket of shit after a couple of episodes.

Yea Dublin Murders struggled to keep up the momentum.

Interestng fact about the male lead in Dublin Murders, Killian Scott, was born Cillian Murphy but changed his name cos of another actor of same name.

Damnation (with Killian Scott) and the main guy from Quarry.

Decent watch, slow burner too, 5 eps in

@Bones @R-L Re The Stranger. Not inclined to watch the series as I've read the book and several others by Harlen Coben and his stand alone books follow much the same thread as each other. A bit like a Dan Brown story. First one great. Second one, have't I heard this story before. Third. Yawn.

Not just his stand alone books either. His whole 11 book Myron Bolitar series are 60% cut and paste from the previous books.

Mind you there is an easy reading market for that stuff. Just ask Lee Child.

(Both have sucked me in for a while)
