On the whole I don't give a shit about clothes - my uniform is faded black jeans (the gap type, not the super tapers), and a band t-shirt, or a nice polo if I want a happy wife. We're pretty casual at my work, and I've been doing the gilet thing the last couple of years. So much so that when I don't wear one, everybody points it out.
However, every once in a while I go mental. You know, when your on one of those rare occasions you go shopping with the wife, and she says you should try something on. So you do, and it blows your mind.
Most expensive is around 2k USD on a Zegna suit.
My saddest purchase was when my wife bought (with me) a leather jacket for my birthday. It was around 800 quid. I returned it as it was the wrong size (the one I tried on in the shop and the new one they got me from the back were not the same size) and they didn't have a replacement. This thing was the nuts for fitting and style. Never found another one since, and thus my leather jacket search rolls on ...
Side note - if I drive my caterham in al leather jacket, I think I win mid-life crisis.

Locally I like the stuff from 3 wise men. Good patterns, decent quality for reasonable prices. And regularly on sale
I've bought a couple of suits and several shirts there over time, all g. But their merino crew necks may as well be mesh they're so thin, and their shoes are of horrific quality.

Skinny motherfuckers like me can wear the shit out of superdry. I just hate how big the logo is most of the time

@Crucial Yeah fucking Superdry. I'm nearly always a XXL, but the fit of their long sleeved tees is fucked and I need a fucking XXXL to get the girth but the sleeves are then like I'm a dwarf in a sack.
I like some of their stuff. But I usually have to buy a size or two up in t shirts

I’m skinny too. I just hate having to buy fatboy sizes to get something that fits.

I don't buy the big logo stuff anymore. But their T shirt styles are quite good

I think you meant "buff sizes". Pretty sure that's what you meant.

I am actually waiting on something from Superdry atm. Ordinarily it ships from the UK and via DHL I think. But this item is coming from Australia via Australia Post and as of last Tuesday the tracking only shows it as having been prepared for despatch. Meanwhile only a few days ago I've bought Mrs Shark some sporty g-bangers from The Iconic (this is a ham-fisted attempt to throw her a bone which she'll see through immediately as an attempt to make her butt look hot even in boring sports undies) and myself a cap and socks from Culture Kings and those items' tracking have them nearly here. The CK stuff is Australia Post just like the Superdry order. Bah.

I have short thick legs, rarely do I find any pants that just fit...too long, or worse, can barely get them over my thighs!
Hate skinny jeans (well, cant wear skinny jeans, feel uncomfortable, so hate)

@shark haha, when it comes to legs, I am closer to the former, I can pretty much always skip leg day and isnt an issue!!
haha i have murri legs. Even when i was playing rugby, and was 11-12 kegs heavier, i still needed tape to hold my socks up
I thought the Iron Man training, with all the cycling and running might actually give me calves. Sadly, it did not.
