It's so much worse then the Marsh fiasco because in this instance the correct decision has not been made, and in a tight test where runs are at a premium it has cost us dearly.

What the fuck is an umpire, in this day and age of checking all wickets, calling marginal no balls for? I haven't seen it but unless a bowler massively oversteps then shut your fucken gob and let the 3rd figure it out should a wicket fall - it's the way shit's done these days

We can't review a no ball call. 
Umpires everywhere around the world go upstairs when a wicket is taken and it is a close call on the no ball. But for some reason today Illingworth inexplicably decided fuck the technology I'm gonna make this call on my own.

Just remove the no ball call from the ump. They can't actually watch a no ball line and adjudicate on events at the other end all that easily, and you end up with a disgraceful call that could change a test match. Let the on field ump make a ruling (but not make no ball judgements) and then check all decisions for no ball afterwards, it only you takes a few seconds and get it f'ing right! The match should last 5 days, the fans will wait! 
It was a dickhead call and the days of a batsman having a chance at a free swing when it was called no ball are long gone. That was clean bowled. The ball from a quick is pretty much there before a batsman hears the no ball call. Ridiculous. 
Hope it fires the BC up, because that was shit umpiring.

I played a game once in the sub continent, morning start. Opening bowler, never bowls no balls, first ball of the game gets called for a noey
 
I was captain so walked over to the ump to try to apply a bit of pressure and ask where he overstepped.
 
There was a perfect spiked imprint of his whole foot inches behind the line. Ump duly goes through the charade of showing where he "overstepped"

By the way, at the top levels, the notion (as Snowy said) of the batsman hearing the no ball call and being able to react and change his shot is a myth
