That's a shame. Reckon we could have got some massive crowds.
I'll have to wait until a day time npc game to take the kids.Understand though, the reasons, not trying to criticize if that's the way the financials stack up.
Really hope the new TransTasman league goes ahead next year with 7 or 8 nz teams so we can get some day games , 2 per weekend, and restart the slow, slow grind of re-immrsing the under-40s in attending live sport. Will take a generation to -repair'.
@Rapido It's not just for financial reasons. It's to allow people to fully participate in community sport:
NZR Head of Professional Rugby Chris Lendrum said the move to Level 1 and the return of crowds meant kick off times would now change for the competition â now 7.05pm for Saturday games and 3.35pm for Sunday games. âWith the return of community sport, we wanted to give our many fans involved in Saturday sport time to finish up their games, get ready to head out, and then across town to our venues. Weâre excited to be able to provide some daytime Sunday rugby in 2020. -

I saw a response on social media yesterday from Kayo that they didn't have current plans to stream Aotearoa SR.

@ACT-Crusader They should play a Crusaders 'A' v Crusaders 'B" game and televise that game, too.
@Stargazer they are playing this game. Not televised though. Best thing having the first week off. Can watch the new rules

The Hurricanes have been dealt an injury blow on the eve of Super Rugby Aotearoa.
Star utility back Jordie Barrett is in serious doubt to square off against older brother Beauden in this weekendâs clash between the Blues and Hurricanes at Eden Park in Auckland.
The Wellington club confirmed the 23-year-old didnât take part in training on Tuesday after sustaining a knock to his shoulder.
Barrett will monitored throughout the week leading into the grudge match against Beauden, who is expected to make his first Blues appearance since his high-profile transfer to the Auckland franchise from the Hurricanes last year.
Confirmation of Jordieâs involvement in the fixture will come on Friday, when both sides name their teams to play on Sunday.
Jordie isnât the only All Blacks set to miss out on rugbyâs return this weekend, as national skipper Sam Cane will reportedly sit out the Chiefsâ campaign-opener against the Highlanders at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin on Saturday.
According to TVNZ, the Chiefs captain has been ruled out with a stiff back and will be a significant absentee from the Hamilton clubâs first match in three months.
No time frame has yet been reported about a potential return for Cane.

Typical, the player in the backline that we can't afford to lose. Hopefully him not training is just the Canes keeping him in cotton wool somewhat.

In case there are Ferners in France, both games will be shown on Canal + Sport (not live).
