fuck rugbys annoying to watch when your opposition commits no one to the ruck but you don't try and commit anyone but hitting it up through the forwards. need to suck some defenders in before playing touch rugby out wide.

I think they've been trying to show less replays of that over the past couple of years to try to reduce complaints about the referees

There aren't any new rules at the breakdown. WR just ordered refs to enforce the existing laws strictly to see what happens. It's worth a try.

"Yeah, look. We haven't been reffing properly, for quite some time now. So, thanks to a pandemic we've decided we'll do what is expected of us. Sorry for that bit where we just didn't ref the rules, but all sweet now eh."
