@taniwharugby be honest. You really do. Bantz,boobs, puns, sport. What's not to like?
-
@nzzp well yeah, but you click on a thread with a subject you think will be interesting, it is more about how many posts it takes to get to those things, you usually know which posters are gonna tread that path, but sometimes they stay on topic for a few posts longer than normal
-
@taniwharugby you shut your goddam dirty mouth.

Important update;
Probably gonna get a new TV, thanks for all your support and understanding in this unusual time. They say guys can get menopause too.. think I’m proof of that, am known to do weird shit sometimes.
Now how about a ‘buying a new TV what should I get’ thread?..

You should frame that and hang it on your wall, be something to tell the grand kids about

If I wanna get the other half in the mood I just show her a post on here with a bunch of upvotes. Works every time.

On the TV thing, the lockdown bought about a raft of changes for Mummy Shark and I.
We have two regular sized TVs in a living room and separate lounge. We had Sky in both rooms with Mysky in the living room. We used to record and watch quite a bit of stuff in that room, after dinner and settling the sprogs. I would watch live sport in the other room, and that was it. Since lockdown we've ditched Sky entirely in the lounge and only got Sport back recently. I'm extremely time poor these days due to work and family stuff so watching a full game in peace is a rare luxury anyway. At 7pm the kids are still up so it's HT before i can actually relax anyway. And it's even less likely at 3.30pm on a Sunday. So having a game of footy on in the background for the most part is the best i can expect. And if I'm going to watch an NBA replay at 9pm it'd be in the living room anyway.
When summer and cricket roll around or the NPC with a proliferation of games at varying times, i may get the Sky sports app, ditch Sport again and just chrome cast to either TV.
After dinner and settling the kids we pretty much go to bed and watch shit on Netflix, TVNZ On Demand or Disney on devices these days. Unless I'm compelled to stay up in the living room for a DW.
I can see the time coming when we'll not need actual TVs but will just require a screen or screens to cast to.
