Well the Warriors turned to shit as the game went on - but this is another to add to the plus column of the Warriors getting shit treatment from the refs.
Egan is so shit, he reminds me of when we had Townsend who barely looked like a decent high school player when playing for us and then went and won a premiership, so Egan's next club should be happy. He's just so slow, his passes are slow, when he runs he looks like a Nana.
I didn't mind the jersey. It's not even in the same ballpark as the Central Vikings jersey for the team that didn't exist.

Even Oz comms are calling the ref out.
Was surprised at this.
Saw a couple I would have thunked were penalties not given.
Warriors apparently received ZERO penalties from the on field refs

RL, the only sport where you can deliberately knock the ball forward to end the game.
A good game to miss.

I really don't know what to make of the Warriors.
Not sure whether to be disappointed or pleased they lost.
Am sad as they're the only league team I have any thought about aside from the Kiwis.
But part of me likes them suffering because of the Mick Watson years and continued years of less than adequacy but they'll be the biggest BRRAAAANND in New Zealand and the whole league is better than rugby bullshit and this is our year but then I want them to win ...
Overall am disappointed with the result.

@canefan Yeah, and as a Raiders fan I hated the Panthers, but those were horrendous. I didn't want to use a photo of piston wristed gibbon Alexander in that jersey.

Warriors were great for the first 10 mins...then turned off the oven and wandered outside for a sneaky ciggie the entire rest of the game. I would blame the bush shirt, but they can be dross in pretty much any strip. It would be much easier if they didn't show those occasional flashes of brilliance, because when they suck they REALLY suck.

Green offers too little. Ineffective is a nice way of explaining his offensive kicking game. Every week we seem to go up against a half that can kick a spiral bomb. They float in the air and change trajectory right before you catch them. In other words, they are hard to catch. Green goes down their end and puts up picture-perfect parabolas. Not particularly high parabolas. Just high enough to allow the opposing fullback to get into the perfect position to collect them on the full. Low enough that the chasers are nowhere to be seen by the time it's been fielded and returned for 5-10 metres.
He had a goodish game last week and it may have made some of us think he still has something to offer but he doesn't. Good guy and all, probably would have finished his career on a higher note at any other club. But it's seeyu, seeyu later time thanks.
