I wonder how Pro 14 will restart. Scheduled for a week after Premiership. Specifically the 2 South African Franchises .

@sparky You were right. Now confirmed, Manu to Sale Sharks. Really has me wondering about the new mouth watering Exeter signing.

@sparky Rob Baxter has said that Exeter Chiefs will shortly announce a new signing β€œthat will have everyone licking their lips”. Tuilagi is the speculation. He’s already signed Facunda Cordero, Santiago’s little brother.

well, given that description, it could be Richard Kahui

Both Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje have signed long-term deals with Saracens.

Not mentioned anywhere, but there is no salary cap in the Championship. Thus these guys can take ( for ex) a 3 year deal, with the majority of the money paid in the championship year. Thus after they inevitability get promoted next season, Saracens will be basically well above the reduced cap. Easy winning there, from the cheating bastards, with their 3 undeserved titles

Not quite. To be promoted to the Premiership you have to operate within the salary cap the season prior.

@Bones He showed pace and was big for his age, took the ball well. Nothing there to suggest he was destined to be anything more than a decent club player though.

                                Defence was dire.

It was interesting to hear his views on his time at Bristol Bears. Basically he said there was nothing about his game other than his raw ability that was anywhere near good enough.

Hah yeah. I have some empathy. I'm basically in pretty much the same situation with rugby at the moment.

Actually no, raw ability is missing too.

Runs across field and doesn't carry the ball in two hands.

Edit: What I guess I mean is - we've seen a few of these from kids physically years ahead of their peers, this video doesn't stand out over those for me. Incredible pace and a good eye for the outside, but nothing jaw dropping.

Runs across field and doesn't carry the ball in two hands.

There was an implication that runs across the field = makes it to the other side.
