When i shifted to Chch in the early 00s after a life in the North Island i got used to a different realty in forecasting. <br><br>
If the prediction was for "possible light showers" in the NI expect to have to build an ark.<br><br>
If there was only "probable rain" in Chch you could pretty much not worry about the brolly. (Farmers must have hated that.) -
