Good drive from Tim to press forward and hope for some cover. Lot of word around about Spellbound and her ability but not entirely sure she deserves it. Our filly is at least her equal.

Sussex Race 8 at Taupo.
A fully unknown. Full of talent and well bred. She hasn't had the nest of luck and while we thought right handed would be best for her, the jockey got off and said "she wants to go left-handed"
Hoping for a much better run in a very strong maiden field.

Polly in Race 9 at The Valley tomorrow. Hoping to go one better.
Just heard last night that she will be nominated for The Caulfield Cup which is obviously very exciting but realistically I think she will end up being targeted for the Fillies and Mares 2000m Group 1 around the same time.
All the same, it gave me a thrill when we were told that.

She has opened at $101 for the Caufield Cup. A mate said that was too short!
