@Kirwan it’s a modern shitter version of The Ghost & The Darkness.

That's the movie name I was trying to remember. How do you know it's shit? It may be a modern masterpiece.

    Snatch.

Cracking film, which does an excellent job of highlighting the good points about living in Britain.

All jokes aside it really a masterpiece this film. Full of excellent dialogue, brilliant storyline and Brad Pitt's finest hour

    5 Dags out of 5 Replica's

    Ritchie's best IMHO

Massive call. Lock Stock is also all sorts of outstanding.

It's a shame the genre spawned so many poor imitations.

@MN5 equally big call as I think you’re forgetting about a little film called Swept Away...

Fuck he’s made some shit as well. Revolver was a steaming pile or surreal horse shit and King Arthur has no redeeming features. That’s latest one was a welcome return to what he does best. British gangsters in Britain.

Never heard of it but it's on this list.....

Mind you so is Showgirls which is a fantastic movie. Gina Gershon has never been better.

@Bones a bit disappointing that switch didn't switch genders in and out of the matrix, especially with implied male partner. That would have blown a few gaskets around the place!

Agree with that, its excellent. Snatch, R&R, Lock Stock, they're all really that good that we shouldn't split hairs trying to name the best of them

Sounds like the third Tron movie may be back on with Jared Leto to star.

Me, I'd be happy if Disney just continued with more of Tron: Uprising tv series. That had some of the best and most stylish character animation I've ever seen

I'm not sure how I stumbled across a movie I very much dug as a kid but as nostalgia goes it was kind of worth it.. The Wraith. 1986 pre Wall Street Charlie Sheen car-based actioner.

Colossally bad. Funny in an unintentional way. Smoking hot Sherilyn Fenn though. She doesn't get enough love that one. Twin Peakes, Two Moon Junction(I watched approximately 6min of that film over 1000 times...) and this. Mega hot.

I was watching Infernal Affairs tonight. This is the 2002 Hong Kong/Chinese movie that The Departed was a remake of, even if Scorsese denies it. Well worth watching.

@Bovidae he denies it? It’s in the credits that it’s based on Infernal Affairs. I remember reading an empire mag before it was released that it was based on it...

@raznomore IMDb says that Scorsese claims he was unaware that his film was a remake of this one during filming.

I just stumbled across 47 Ronin last night.

    Really enjoyed it.

I was thinking at the end how cool it was based on a true story and then realised that I had just seen samurais smoking dragons and humans that turn into snow foxes. I had to jump myself back into reality.
