Bucks lose the first, and easily.
Heat win as well.
@mariner4life Fultz was every bit the first-round draft pick he's supposed to be.

He's better off in ORL than Philly. Lower expectations, better fit, and Philly aren't going to win anything anytime soon

@Bovidae they shut down Paul and it was easy from there. Adams was dealing with PJ Tucker for most of the game and only got 13 looks. He must be the most untrustworthy $100m player with the ball in the league. I know his post moves are average but to not feed him the ball in that situation is crazy. Schroeder and SGA were having an awful night and Adams had 17 in only 28 minutes and I think he finished with only 2 personal fouls. Crazy.
Edit: This is not an Adams hot take from Razbra again...

it's overdue though

Also, are the Rockets smokeys if the usual standard of playoff defense and reffing isn't there?

@mariner4life they were getting a shit ton of 50/50 calls and no calls.

@raznomore Yeah, you've got to question Billy Donovan's tactics against a team with no true C. Attack them in the paint.

That, along with Harden's style of ball, is why I dislike them

Tight game with 4 minutes left. AD is ice cold from the field, LBJ is going have to do this on his own

@canefan Lebron has a serious tripdub going on. 21/15/15
Probably in a losing effort
-
Those last five minutes should ring major alarm bells for the Lakers. Green and Caruso bricking threes, while Carmelo and Trent land them at the other end for Portland.
Backs up the theory that the Lakers are shot if the ball isn't in the hands of Lebron or AD.
-
Lakers got ahead until Portland roared back with a barrage of 3s. Lakers looked like they would win out despite being out of sync but no. So both 1st seeds look average in the bubble and transfer that form into G1 losses. They will need much improved shooting in G2

@barbarian Danny Green will probably explode from the arc next game. He can't shoot that poorly again.

Not too mention all the other bricks during the rest of the game.
Dame with the logo 3s...

And AD. That game blows off the rust. If LA wins the next game they should take it inside 5. As bad as they played if they had kept up their mid Q4 tactics and stopped settling for 3s they could have won that

Lebron is the best all-round athlete the NBA has ever seen but he doesn't have the killer gene.
Too much facilitating when he needed to level up as only players like he, Kobe, and MJ can and could do. Still, only game one.
@raznomore yeah it’s game 1. Lebron has been in this position before.
Lakers shot a lot of 3s and they didn’t go the 2-man game With Lebron and AD.
Need to change it up for game 2.
