agreed...MMT's highlights were making a tackle and then getting tackled twice...they couldn't find any of his many clean breaks/defenders beaten etc?

They also forgot several players who deserve to be in that list of up-and-comers.

@Kiwiwomble that 10.5 million 'Engagements' fails to take into account the Fern.

The Chiefs ended up having the second-best lineout at 88.5%. You wouldn't have thought so after the early wobbles.

That and the conversion % show some areas of concer.

Coltman just threw everything to the front after the meltdown against the Canes.

If they did a breakdown for each hooker, Dixon would be way in front for lineout %.

Haha they had to come up with a league-leading stat for each team so the Chiefs get the honour of tallying the most (losing) bonus points.

Who was the most accurate goal kicker? DMac would be right up there.

                        @Bovidae

McKenzie attempted 37 shots - nine fewer than Mo'unga but still seven more than the player with the next greatest number of attempts (Jordie Barrett)

So they should have used that stat for the Chiefs.

Dixon was throwing at 100% until the last couple of weeks. Then 1 or 2 losses against the crusaders and same again canes.

Watching the bits of Clarke though - man he runs in a similar style to Lomu IMO. Just the way he finishes that break from Roane.

(In the article, Ennor is both in the "Contracted until 2021" and "Contracted until 2023" list).

Small sample sizes. Not much to take away from it. Easily swayed by Eden Park being full for certain games.

Auckland had a bumper 43k crowd pre-saled sellout cancelled on the final crowdless weekend which would have bumped the gap out by a few more thousand. (Highlanders had 15,000 pre-sales for their crowdless game)

If add the presales for final round. Averages become:

                                      • Saturday night crowd 19,346
                                      • Sunday afternoon crowd 23,080

But, those are actually really good numbers for the Saturday night games.

Percentage full would be really interesting too - could well see a bigger difference
