    That game was about as close to "clinical" as I can remember the Warriors playing in quite some time. We just looked in control for that last 30 minutes.

    Its incredible given the stars they've lost this season and certainly makes you question whether that's where some of the problems lay.

    Murchie gets more and more likeable every week. He's like Charlie Gubb but with talent to back his enthusiasm

    Warriors give top 8 team a touch up. Beautiful. And somehow we are 9th? There is a lot of credit due here.

    Word is Payton is getting the Cowboys job on the back of it

    Brisbane fired the coach and still suck. Hilarious. They are bloody lucky the Dogs exist or this would be the most deserved of spoons. And so much chat they are going to give Walters the job? Do they hate their supporters?

    Just when Souths look like becoming a contender, they lose Latrell for the year.

    Top 8 is locked in now.

    That is true, but a low bar. Our expectations aren't too high. Being in the top 20 (I know) is an achievement for the worriers.

    TBH, I'm not really too worried about where we're sitting on the table, but more how we're playing. Amazingly, we look like a competent team, in the wins, but also in the recent loss as well.

    My mate text me on the weekend and said he was wearing his Warriors jersey out in public again.

    @Nepia Don't you go and get hopes up again. Next year isn't our year and neither is the one after, or after that (they actually do look competent at times though, quite a novelty).

    we're 9th, with a sniff of finals, despite:

    Living in another country, with out the players families;
    Had a bunch of 1st teamers head home;
    playing with loan players from other clubs.

    @mariner4life that whole Tamworth experience and the performance that the boys put on for the people of Tamworth was fucken cool.

    Pretty impressed with how the boys have handled this season

    Just watched the game. Payten has us humming now, enthusiastic and energetic. We look to really be enjoying our footy (why wouldn't we?). I love the fact that so many young fresh players are making a significant difference at the moment. Brown has a decent foundation for next season and there's still all to play for this season. Such a shame the eels won't let their loan players play for us next round

    Benji's time at the Tigers looks finally up.

    Reports he's pissed about it.

    A senior half in a team playing dogshit, who is 35, and defends like his shoulders are made of wet paper, is upset a club doesn't want to pay him $300k next year?

    riiiiight

    The Tigers salary cap is a mess. Reynolds, Mbye, Brooks and Packer are taking up far too much of their cap space. I feel for Madge as he's cleaning up a mess that Cleary has created there.

    I think the Titans could be a good destination for Marshall tbh. Ash Taylor would benefit I feel with an experienced head outside him. The Tigers however are making the right decision letting Marshall go.

    God i love the Broncos. They are a dumpster fire

    Today's reports are: Everyone is fired!!! The list of names able to speak to other clubs is astounding. Some of them are good too. I would take Kotoni Staggs and Joe Ofahengaue in a heartbeat.

    As if this wasn't funny enough. Reports they want Ben Hunt back! And even a rumour of Benji Marshall! What the actual fuck are they doing up there? Is everyone coked up to their eyeballs.

    Pleeeeeeaaaaase let this all happen, and they sign Kevin Walters. They'll be a laughing stock for years to come.

    Also, let's talk about the Tigers

    Michael Maguire is apparently too hard on the poor players, who hate that they might get dropped for shit effort.

    Parra loan players unavailable and forced where other teams can name 21 each Tuesday, warriors could only name 20 fit players.

    Great to see a focus on defense with Payten in charge, pity he will be with NQC next year.

    Parra probably going to hit hard after being found soft like a marshmallow by Souths last week

    We are playing well, the two loan players will be a loss but not pivotal

    @mariner4life yep sad that split playing group, especially since like the warriors it was more lack of consistent effort in defence that was causing the tigers issues.

    @ACT-Crusader thanks mate, took me a while to get over the cricket hammering by Australia. Typical that COVID didn't come earlier enough to wipe that result out!

    Much like his latest AB days. A thumble, an over rated run or two, a bad pass and an off load that will give the commentators orgasms.
