I think considering the universe is infinite (just stop and think about this for a moment as it's a real mind fuck), this means the possibilities are infinite.

There are probably colours, shapes, sounds, dimensions out there which our little human brains can't even process.

To think we're alone in the universe when we haven't even fully explored our own galaxy yet, is a bit close-minded.

@shark AHA. The thing is if the universe is infinite then it could be teeming with life but the distances are also infinite so each lifeform could be separated by distances so vast that they are effectively on their own.
