@ARHS Walsh previously played for Waikato, as did Takarangi as recently as last year.

Alaimalo, Moorby and Te Tamaki are all ex Hamilton BHS.

Takarangi is the only new player to Southland this year.

Are there others?

A lot of attacking players going straight to deck when hitting rucks. Could blow a penalty at most rucks.

Looking at the stream of the Waikato-Taranaki game Waaka is at fullback. Loosies are Jacobson (x2) and Parker. Finau and Thomson at lock.

From what I can make out:

Cobb, Taukei'aho, Iosefa-Scott, Thomson, Finau, L Jacobson, M Jacobson, Parker
Roe, Reihana, Osborne, Rogers (?), Tupaea, Wrampling, Waaka

7-0 to Waikato but just pushed off their own feed at scrum.
