Tenet: Christopher Nolan's new movie, which may be the most Christopher Nolany of all his films.
I actually need to rewatch it to know whether I like it or not.
It has a cracking opening sequence.
This is one long trailer.
Just got back from this, I actually have a similar opinion to Nepia.
A couple of awesome sequences for sure, can get a little confusing and probably not the best choice to watch with a hangover. That said, it kept me intrigued start to finish and it’s not a short movie either. Not your standard action flick and if you don’t like riddles wrapped in enigmas you probably won’t like this.
Won’t write anything about the plot though as don’t want to spoil for others.
Not a patch on Inception, 3 (omitted for spoilers) out of 5 ethnically diverse casts. Good enough battle scenes were a bit lame, lack of enemies/threat

Let's hope there is a theatre release in Dec.
Fingers crossed. Massive potential to be a classic.....also just as much potential to be utter shit

ok, so, i completely missed Dune growing up other than just knowing it was a classic out there
questions, this is a movie or a series?
is it worth trying to read the book before it comes out? is it like LotR in that its just so big there no way they can show it all on screen?

the best thing is i read the books in my mid-teens ad i can't remember a single frikken thing about them

Will it have that fat gross prick floating around?
Never read the books but was a fan of the original movie. As weird as it was. -

The first Novel Dune can def be done, and looks like they are sticking closer to the book from what I’ve heard. So I hope it will be good, will need a fuck load of CGI. As to reading the book, upto you. Dune is an awesome book, will you be disappointed then by movie? Or wil movie spoil book for you? Personal preference IMO.

Upon re watching he’s merely fat, creepy and disgusting.

Accidently watched "Safe" last night with Jason Statham.
I say accidently as hadn't heard of it and was channel surfing when it was just about to start and thought I would watch for a few minutes before getting a bit of work done.
Ended up watching it all.
What I liked about it was that it was quite a short movie with enough action to make you want to keep watching.
Hardly a classic but not an entire waste of time either.

I think Bautista ( who is a brilliant actor for a big steroid head ) will be playing Rabban. Brilliant casting.
Denis Villeneuve seems to like Bautista in his recent movies. The cast has plenty of star power.
