I remember watching it when it was first shown in NZ, or maybe a rerun in the early 1980s, but I don't think I've seen it since then. So ~40 years.

@Bovidae I re-watched the entire 2000's version a few years back, and the movies, took some time, but well worth it.

It was shown on Orange (Sky channel in the UHF days) in the mid 90s, we used to watch it on a Wednesday in my student flat before going to the pub.

I also remember that the follow up series Battlestar Gallactica 80s (I think it was called) was available as a series of movies at the video store in the late 80s. Wasn't that good as most of the characters weren't in it and it was kid focused with kid characters. The kids could speed read. There was one good episode, it was the one where Starbuck is stuck on a planet with a Cylon. A BSG version of Enemy Mine/Hell in the Pacific.

Not sure I could watch it now due to the episodic nature of the show.

I'm watching them for nostalgic reasons.

I have the 21-episode Battlestar Galactica TV series, Mission Galactica TV movie (which includes some of the former series episodes) and then Galactica 1980. That will keep me busy.

    Succession.

I'm into the 3rd episode and can't make up my mind. Is it a dramedy? Seems like a naff version of House of Lies.

@Bones @MiketheSnow I couldn't bring myself to watch it. I have an aversion to shows based on reality. Not sure if its because we already know the (real) outcome, but it just holds no interest to me. I think I need to be surprised with a show.

@voodoo had no idea it's based on reality and Google doesn't really clear it up...

@Bones interesting, I heard early on it was, and then never gave it the time of day

I've just finished Yellowstone so I need something else. Still need to finish Sopranos and The Wire first though!

Don't you ruin it for me!!! Next you'll be telling me Superbad was real too!

But seriously, I can watch a doco or a movie based on real events, but not a 3-4 series TV show, that's too much of an investment when you know the outcome.

@MiketheSnow I thought it was about the Murdoch family and empire. Could be wrong, that happens a bit these days

I'm watching All or nothing Tottenham Hotspur. Even if you aren't a Spurs fan its a riveting inside look at the goings on inside a Premier League team.

Did anyone watch the All or nothing All Blacks series?
