<p>I think we did this last year, but why the Cowboys? Normally it is only Bronco supporters who hate the Cowboys.</p>

<p>Manly for sure. St George and Newcastle for me as well (although its hard to hate them when they suck as well). definitely the filthy fucking bogans at the Roosters. And the feral Bulldogs. And the collection of grubs at Cronulla. </p>

<p>There are a lot of NRL teams that are very easy to hate. </p> -
New season starts with the Broncos beating the eels without ever getting out of second gear. <br><br>
The season is already awesome because channel 9 is fucked off. Fox Sports in crisp HD with no johns fittler or gould. And more Brandy Alexander. Win. -
<p>So, Mitchell Pearce. 8 weeks and $125K fine. What do you guys think about that?</p>

<p>I think it is incredibly harsh. He embarrassed himself by being a complete fuckwit while bent up. In a private residence. He didn't break any law. And he gets 8 weeks? And that fine? I think the NRL have gone way too far with this one. </p>

<p>Don't get me wrong, i'm all for laughing at Pearce and the Roosters as often as is possible. But this is ridiculous. </p> -

<p>It's the ongoing nature of off-field incidents that probably led them to that decision. League players have a hell of a reputation built up now.</p>

<p>For my sins, and to cap off an absolutely crap week (no internet in the new apartment, shitty work week with too many meetings with people who think talking constantly makes them sound intelligent) I'm going to attend the Warriors first round loss against the Tigers.</p>

<p>To make things even worse, because of the drive out to Campbelltown and back again I'm going to miss the NZ rugby matches I want to watch and I've only got FoxGo so I can't freakin record the games.</p>

<p>And then I got round to reading the team list. Yes Cappy, lets put Lolohea on the wing and keep Solomon Kata Cappy Jnr in at centre despite the fact his talents (running hard) best suit the wing and his negatives (passing, defence, passing) will ensure Tui will be wasted out there. </p>

<p>Since I have both Jackson Hastings and Jay Nikorima in my fantasy team I'll say it is fair. If you're a NSW fan you'll demand Mitch is banned for life. Speaking of banned players, Rusty Packer is back in the NRL with the Dragons.</p>
