Brave effort in the bubble, played more good footy than bad, but for a few obligatory hosings from the refs and the bunker, we might have made it

@raznomore I want to see a big effort in the last two rounds. We could still finish 9th 😉

Some of these young kids who have emerged in the bubble look good. Nathan Brown has material to work with

The key will be to see if Brown can replicate the buy in of the players that Payten has, that for me is a complete unknown

Yup. He was around the camp when Kearney was coach. Which isn't saying much, but some of the players know him

There aren't many bigger deadshits in the NRL than Josh Maguire. To get binned for giving the ref a gobful was bad enough. To do it 15 minutes in to the game. Against Melbourne. When you have the ball. Straight after your team has taken the lead?

    What a fucking idiot.

He seems to be a guy that gets into his players heads ,

he certainly installed some pride in performance, not something that you would normally associate with the warriors of late

yeah, the results have been pleasing, but it's been the change in attitude that has been huge. Kearney's warriors were renowned for quitting when it got tough. These guys have every excuse in the book, but keep fronting. Hell, they get behind and keep finding ways to fight back and get in to the contest.

If he can get that pride in to the talent that the Cowboys have, they'll shoot up the ladder. I'm bullish on the Titans as well. The Broncos could fall well behind in Qld (boo hoo).

incindentally, which bandwagon are we jumping on, now that the top 8 is set. I think there are a couple of Melbourne guys here who i assume take the Storm, but the rest of us are eliminated.

I hate the Clearey's, so the Panthers are out
I'm sick of the Storm and the Roosters
    I can't stand Ricky Stuart
    I hate the Sharks
No way am i saddling myself to the disappointment that is the Eels
I can't stand Wayne Bennett the grumpy old fuck.
Supporting Mitchell Pearce is very very difficult.

    That's a rogues gallery

I dont hate the Cleary's and I enjoy the Penrith have been playing, so I am ok with this.
Newcastle and the Sharks are just making up numbers and I cant stand the sharks either
Unless Parra can fix their middle, they are also over, but their hot and cold nature makes them tough to get behind.
The Raiders could still be upset value but unlikely and then their is "sticky". Not a fan, but probably dont hate him.
Souths will need Latrell back to win, but could cause troubles
That leaves the Storm and the Roosters. Im over both of these teams as well, the Storm will go close, but if there are no more season ending injuries, I cant see the Roosters getting knocked over and just getting Angus and Keary back only makes it more dangerous for Teddy at the back. For me Roosters go three peat. They are great to watch in full swing.

I will probably support anyone but the Sharks, but Roosters win for me.

@bayimports i think i would be okay with a Roosters threepeat, just to see the achievement

I guess I'll pick the team with the most NZers ... so probably Roosters or Storm?

I’ll jump on the Roosters bandwagon. They are a poor club punching above their weight and I like a Cinderella story. The only team that pays their supporters as well which is amazing when you have so little to work with. I saw they took on an old fella struggling to find his place in the world, a 300 game vet made way to let this guy live out his dream of playing for a premiership, for the 3rd time. Great club. Just need a bit more cash to really make things happen for them.

Don’t give a rats who wins, just as long as it’s not the bloody Roosters.

In fact I probably prefer Canberra, Para or Penrith just to see someone different win the thing.

Why the hate for 'Sticky'? He seems to be a calm and thoughtful coach all the time these days, and the team seems tight as a result.

They're winning at the moment. Wait until something goes wrong

Fonua-Blake just gone on the market - wants out of Sydney, expect Warriors to table first offer, Broncos wont be far off either
