@MajorRage it's amazing how much a change in singer can affect the sound of a band. Even listening to We Care a Lot sounds worse with Mosley.

Indeed. I've a got a bit of hipster mate who still reckons that the band's best album was Introduce Yourself.
He also reckons that St Anger is a pretty good album too.
Maybe he's not a hipster and just has really shit taste in music.

I liked that movie
I liked that and Sing Street by the same director, although I hated his popular movie Once. Annoying movie and annoying song they kept repeating throughout the movie.

Sing Street is awesome, I've seen it 4 or 5 times. The brother is such a great character.
Didnt know they were the same director, and ever seen Once

Yeah, that actor was good in Freefire as well. I was surprised I liked it as I hate musicals on film (I like them in the theatre) and it was almost a musical.

Decent cover
The comments on YouTube are priceless

He was a pretty decent frontman but again, I’d love to hear Patton improve this song even more
Mosley had a pretty sad life I think, I followed him on FB as he and his band went round doing tiny gigs all over the states. Their van with all their gear got stolen and they had to start a give a little page and cancel the rest of their dates! A bit of a fall from grace for a guy who used to be a rock star.

@MiketheSnow THISSSSS!!
Ah man I love Billy Joe, and yes the comments were funny, the guy really doesn't age!! Actually preferred this version to the original, good one big Mike! -
Parenting fail this morning ... School run drop off. I usually have the music quite loud as the kids love it.
Anyway, this song came up ... just as I opened the door to drop Mr 8 off (with the head teacher there for temp check), this had just started and roughly at 20 seconds is what started playing when the door opened ...

Tuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnee
Always a staple on MN5 Car trips.
That intro is a bit awkward, the version I have doesn’t have it though which saves any embarrassment for when the boys are in the car.

That and Dragula are both good songs. I did see Rob Zombie in Sydney a few years back when he played those songs.
I've been listening to this album today in honour of the passing of Lee Kerslake, and his cool drum intro.

Those of you in the UK may be aware of this talent that has appeared. I first saw her doing a duet with Paul Weller. Only a handful of tracks released at the moment but I suspect her coming album will be huge.
This song has that whole 'new Billie Holliday' vibe and I have put it here just because it is a stunning performance. Other tracks are more upbeat (see 'Stop this Flame) -
@MajorRage between this, Rocket Queen, Stone Cold Bush, there are a few songs where i get the skip out
also the last part of Killing in the Name is not a phrase i need my kids to be totally okay with.

It’s a shame cos Fleas Bass slapping and Frusciantes wah wah antics are quite awesome.
