@taniwharugby what’s incredible, there are times when we are’nt even capable of playing one decent half ..But that was a goody ..

Sheesh, what’s up with the Steelers set piece? Also Northland was making metres at will off phase ball. Well done to the Northland forwards.

@ACT-Crusader looked solid in the 1st half, but a couple of changes early in the 2nd spell and it really struggled, even when they were 8 v 7

good to see them fight to the end, instead of just putting it out.... FT 15-24

What a 2nd 40, reckon Ross Wright coming on when we were down to 14 was the turning point.

          His side suddenly became dominant.

@kev I reckon on another day, Gregory dives on that kick through and slides over to score and we get a BP, instead he toes it, just too far, probably sums up where his head is at presently when little things like that are slightly off.

What team we put out next week will be very interesting given the increased tempo and performance in that 2nd spell, a few players deserving of a start.

Weather forecast looks good, should get a decent crowd!!

@Machpants yea I think if Otago defend it v HB, we are up next but if they lose it we are HB 1st challenge.

@taniwharugby if Otago defend it then Counties get next crack followed by Northland.

@KiwiMurph knowing our luck, after seeing off HB, Counties will play a blinder and nab the Shield!

@taniwharugby Gregory needs to play in the midfield I reckon. Lots of contact, build his confidence.
