@mofitzy_ I think Lowe becomes eligible in November so he might not even play.

@Bones Who? Not sure if you mean them, but Johnny McNicholl is injured (ankle) and Hadleigh Parkes no longer eligible (moved to Japan).

@Stargazer actually meant Anscombe and Parkes, had forgotten about McNicholl. Thanks for the update.

Time is not on his side. Particularly with Covid messing up international schedules.

@MiketheSnow why are some players in italics, I couldn't figure the pattern?

@Machpants I think there is no meaning. No italics in the official announcement.

Welsh Rugby Union - Seven uncapped in Wales' autumn squad

Welsh Rugby Union - Seven uncapped in Wales' autumn squad

Wales head coach Wayne Pivac has named seven uncapped players in his 38-man squad for Wales’ upcoming autumn campaign. Two uncapped forwards are named in hooker Sam Parry and back-row Josh Macleod, whilst five uncapped backs are included: Kieran Hardy, Callum Sheedy, Johnny Williams, Louis Rees...

Most likely because in the text there was an asterisk denoting debutant or something and it messed with the post formatting.

COVID has caused a significant drop in the quality of players available to the Barbarians, but great for Chris Eves and Haereti Hetet to be given the opportunity.

@Stargazer you would've thought England were better off just doing a trial match, looking at the strength of that side.

@Stargazer That's only 22 players and not exacly a star-studded line up. Shall I clean my boots and get down to Barbarians HQ?
