They did a steak & cheese roll that almost perfectly mimicked a dairy style pie - they then dropped it for a vegan roll so they're dead to me
Like you, I have special dietary requirements - I can't eat anything which hasn't resulted from an animal being killed.

It's a whole new world today bro.

A contender for best post on the fern in the history of forever

The farmer up the road told me the the anti-meat people also conveniently leave out the CO2 captured by the grass farm animals graze on when they talk of cows and sheep increasing CO2 emissions.
Speaking of gluttony, said farmer's rib-eye steaks are to die for.

It doesn’t help that they taste of meat.

Probably the same farmer burning down the amazon saying, "Its all good the grass we sow will capture CO2"

Late to the party but sour lollies are the worst for me. Can smash a big bag of those sour Skittles no worries.
Also the more sour the better. It's gotten to the point that I can't find anything on the market sour enough. I'm like a crack addict chasing that perfect high.

I would have said corn chips but I'm not really a fan of Doritos as they taste too processed for my liking and they dominate the shelves. I was addicted to Devos when I was a kid (if anyone remembers them) and there was another brand I loved but can't remember the name now which seemed to disappear when Doritos hit the market.
Always on the lookout for good quality corn chips, it feels like there aren't any great options in NZ at the moment. Love them super spicy but same with the sour lollies I can never find anything spicy enough!

@No-Quarter Sour patch kids. The chili ones are wildly exciting but I couldn't eat a whole bag

The chili ones are insane and not the kind of sour I am after - they're more hot and make you choke! And I find the other sour patch lollies not sour enough. Short circuits were awesome back in the day, they were proper jaw-locking sour.

I get a bag of sour lollies from my boys every birthday, Xmas and Father’s Day. So yeah, a packet of skittles 3 times a year. Very satisfying and a nice treat. As long as I don’t look at the ingredients I’m pretty guilt free

@nzzp what is everyone else eating?!!
I think I ate 4. They were still warm - oozy cheesy goodness. OMFG so good. There's a second half tray of them below, that are now all in the freezer thankfully ... otherwise I'd be that 200kg bloke you see on TV getting craned out of his house
What a great weekend, and what a great day. Really good fun, and a cracking test match to cap it off.

oh is now a good time to fess up that we've been ordering 1kg bags of mint leaves and jet plane lollies. I got a box of em for my birthday earlier in the year then we've ordered more since. So good (and bad) to be able to order just your favourites
