TV Purchase help

Not sure I told you guys but a couple months ago we purchase a new tv ( long story won’t go there)
55 inch Lg something a rather.
That’s my 3rd Lg in a row, have always been impressed with them. Still have a 2012 model going great in the bedroom.
Only downside I could say is they don’t appear to be wife or water proof. ( doubt you want to hear about it)

I've been keeping half an eye on TVs. Currently running a 65" Panasonic Plasma. Really good, but super glary in the lounge.

Would love to have

big screen (65-85)
wide viewing angle
cope with bright room

Most seem to offer either bright room, or a wide viewing angle - any suggestions that can do both would be welcome!

OLED came highly rated previously; they look great but quite spendy. I can get an 85" for $60k!

Our lounge has a lot of windows, and while I love Plasma for dark viewing, under daylight it's pretty glary. Well, very glary.

Still, OLED could be the shot - gives good viewing angles without the massive reflection issues of Plasma

@nzzp I have a Sony one. The OLEDs don't have a backlight, when the pixels are off they are jet black. So you get really good dynamic range even in sunlight. Talking of which...

The OLED I bought is now $1700 more expensive than when I purchased it a week ago, and more expensive than when it was released. I'm glad I pulled the trigger during that sale period.
